Burn baby, burn...

I already announced ít, here it is: The "glove vs fire" contest! Like we all expected, the glove is destroyed, after 100ml alcohol burned was poured on it , ignited and burned for 30 seconds. But it neither dropped, melted or burned. The nomex fibre became hard and crumbled, broke when bend in pieces. But in case of an accident, no melted material would have been merged with the wound or skin!

Softshell - Final look

Hi there,
the final outer shell of our softshell jacket. It now features water-resistant YKK zippers, pen pockets on the arm, new zipper implementation and elbow padds. Still open and matter of development is the interior design. Coolmax / Mesh, Fleece or now lining at all are all on the table, but so is a mix of all three, too. Stay tuned....

Grimmshield Softshell

Hi there,
here it is, 3rd sample of our new softshell jacket. It is made of fine microfibre fabric and designed as a 3 seasons stand-alone and a 4 seasons jacket with added cold weather layer underneath. The jacket itself is light enough to be worn in warm, sunny weather, and on the other hand windproof and highly water repellend.
The jacket features a long back, velcro-cuffs, napoleon-style chest pockets, arm pockets with tuck-away reflector tabs and a large back pocket. Whilest the back-pocket doubles as ventilation, too, the jacket also features a "hip-to-elbow" under-arm zipper with bug-mesh to keep out insects as ventilation. Jacket will be released, with fitting trousers, around christmas, in OD green, Tan and Black. A special version in white, as snow camo, is in the making, too!
